Library Appointments Enjoy the freedom of browsing the New Books shelves. Make a 30 minute appointment by either calling 508.823.1344 or reserving a time online in our Events Calendar. We continue to follow the Governor's Phase III Step 2 reopening recommendations. We are limiting capacity at any one time to no more than 5 people, so you'll have space to move about freely. The library is open from 10:00 to 7:00 Monday through Wednesday, 10:00 to 2:00 on Thursday, 10:00 to 5:00 on Friday and 10:00 to 2:00 on Saturday. Curbside delivery continues for those who prefer this option. Call us to pick-up holds curbside.

Now is a good time to return overdues :-). We're extending our no-fine period until the end of the year. If you have overdue materials, this is the time to return! We are not charging fines on materials that have not been returned because of the pandemic. Beginning January 2021, we will begin to assess fines again. You may return items to the outside book drop or the lobby return box.

Self-Checkout is here! You can now use the SAILS Mobile App to checkout books with your smartphone! Simply click on the app's self-service cart, hit the big green Check-Out button, scan the library barcode on the upper left corner of the book, and you're good to go. Adopt a Snow "Friend" Beginning Saturday, November 21, you'll have an opportunity to take home an adorable snowman from the estate collection of SJ Blanchard. For a small donation, you can select one from the many dozen that she collected. The Friends will also offer tickets for 3 drawings: a Winter Basket filled with goodies, a $50 Marketbasket gift card, and a toboggan decorated with fresh greens for your holiday porch or garden. Pick-up your mystery ingredient from the library, find a recipe (or create your own) and start cooking. We'll meet online on ZOOM to compare recipes and ideas.
