Suggestion Box Help us with library programming by filling out a suggestion flyer and dropping it in the box at our table.

Swing by the Library booth at the Nevada County Fair! August 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Stop by and make a button! You will also find information about our upcoming fall programming and tutorials on how to use our new library app. We will have our Jackson Pollock inspired art piece up for everyone to enjoy. The art was created by Nevada County community youth.

Tuesdays in the Children's room, beginning August 17, 10:30 am - 11:00 am Are you feeling wiggly, full of energy, and ready for a fun story? Join us for singing, dancing, and more in this storytime designed specifically for movers and shakers.

Join us for Outdoor RUFF at the Regional Park lawn next to the basketball courts. Read to the therapy animals and participate in crafts and outdoor games! Sign-ups required. Stop by the library or sign up online. This program is offered in partnership with library staff, volunteers and the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe.

Mondays, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Spice Up Your World is a culinary adventure! Discover new recipes, taste new flavors, and meet fellow foodies! Come pick up the new spice today so that you can come ready to discuss what you made.

Mondays, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm Swing by the Penn Valley Library and pick up a Grab & Go Craft each week. Crafts are designed for all ages and will include most or all of the supplies needed plus instructions. No registration needed. Available while supplies last.

Spend your lunch hour making art with us! An art project including supplies will be provided or you are welcome to bring one that you are already working on. This drop in adult art program will offer a relaxing space to create art with other people. All skill levels welcome.
