Support Us!
A Letter from the Board President

Greetings, friends of the Aloha Community Library,

As president of the ACLA, I thank you for your continuing support for our library.

Many of you have been involved from the early days when a small group of residents started the library with donated books and shelving, massive amounts of volunteer labor, and big dreams of creating a place for learning and growth for all people in our community. Your gifts of money, time, and patronage have helped to create not just a warehouse for books, but rather a safe space where diversity is celebrated, and individuals and families of all types can gather to access programs and materials.

With your help, we have assembled a quality staff, added dedicated space for programs, and continue to build a collection of books and media that reflects the diversity of Aloha. I see the Aloha Community Library filling a vital role as a community gathering place for our unincorporated area now and in the future. As 2019 comes to a close, I hope you will join me in continuing to provide the financial support vital to realizing this vision. Please donate today by mail, in the library, or at https://alohalibrary.org/support-us/donate/.

Thank you for your commitment to our library!

Jean Doane

Ready, set, go! It’s almost Giving Tuesday - December 3rd!
$10,000 in one day is a huge goal, but we are positive YOU can help us reach it!
#GivingTuesday
Giving Tuesday is December 3. All donations made that day will be matched by a generous donor, up to $5,000!

Why? Because books are how we learn to read, taking that first important step to school success, job readiness, and being an engaged adult. Some see reading as a super power that takes us wherever we want to go and to destinations we never imagined. You’re reading this because someone helped you discover the importance of reading.

Share your reading super power! Here’s how: Visit the library or https://alohalibrary.org/support-us/donate/ to make your donation.

Special drawing! All donors (21 years and older) who make donations of $100 or more on Tuesday, December 3, are eligible to win a Reserve Tour and Tasting for up to eight Wine Enthusiasts at Willamette Valley Vineyards! Many thanks to Willamette Valley Vineyards for supporting the Aloha Community Library Association.
