Opportunities to help!
Feeling Crafty?
Calling all crafty folks! The Holiday Booktique returns this December! We will begin collecting donations of small handcrafted items to sell in the library in November. We’re looking for a variety of items that can be priced reasonably for most folks – scarves, hats, stuffed animals, jewelry, decorations for the home, etc.
Holiday Booktique
  • All items will be donations to the Aloha Community Library Association, with full sale proceeds benefitting library operations. This is not a consignment sale.
  • Items will be displayed on a couple of tables in the library, so nothing too large. Check in with Terri if you have ideas you’d like to bounce around.
  • All items should be unscented or sealed so that no scents can be smelled in the library, including homemade soaps. Apologies – we have lots of folks with allergies and sensitivities.
Please contact Terri Palmer, volunteer@alohalibrary.org, with questions.

Want to Help More?
Do you have experience planning a fundraising event? Would you like to share your skills and talents, or do you want to learn more about event planning? Join us! The ACLA is planning to hold a major fundraiser in April 2020. We need volunteers to help with planning the event, securing corporate donations, planning additional fundraising activities to incorporate at the event, such as a silent auction, and more. Please contact Terri Palmer, volunteer@alohalibrary.org, if you are interested in learning more. We will schedule planning meetings beginning in October.
