Service Updates - We are here to help you!
Due to health concerns of COVID19, the library building will be temporarily closed to the public until further notice. Staff will continue to work part-time at the Library and part-time from home. We know you have questions about what this closure means for our services and your accounts. Here is what we can tell you:
No overdue fees will be charged - We do not charge overdue fees.
Do not worry if your material becomes due. Staff are attempting to renew all items for you - All overdue email notices have been temporarily suspended.
The drive-up book drop is closed. Please hold on to all library materials until the Library reopens.
Holds can not be placed on items - Libraries throughout the state are closed
The Courier has suspended service until April 27th
Card expiration dates are extended. All library cards that are set to expire in March, April, or May have been extended for 3 months. If you have trouble downloading free digital material, your card may have expired prior to March. Call me at my home number below and I will renew it for you.
Online resources and streaming content are available. For people looking for material to read, watch, and/or listen, we encourage the use of our online streaming resources such as Hoopla and Libby. (find links below) These are available for FREE with your library card. Need help - Call us anytime at the numbers below.
Library staff and board members are constantly monitoring the situation - Updated information is received from our Library System and the State Library on a regular basis. The Library will reopen when it is once again safe to circulate library materials.

If you do not have a Library Card you can now obtain a temporary card on-line that will allow access to free digital materials. Simply click the Pathfinder Central icon to the left and then click Register here.
CKLS will be your home library for this card.
Be sure to write down or print your user name, password and card number. You can change your password in the Pathfinder System to something you can easily remember. Save this information - you will need it when you sign up for Hoopla or Libby. Just follow the instructions in red below.
When our library reopens please come in and we will make Lincoln Carnegie your official home Library.

When signing up your PIN is the password in Pathfinder (where you go to renew books) - If you have never used Pathfinder your password is carnegie (all lower case) If you forgot your password call us and we can reset it for you. If you have problems, your card my be expired. Call or email me at the numbers below and I will renew it for you.
*If you have a temporary CKLS card: Pick CKLS as the home library and enter your user name. Create your own password. The PIN will be the password you received or made when registering for your temporary card.

Some of our library funding is based on population. Completing your census brings in money not just for the library but for our schools, seniors, the hospital and medical clinics, health department and emergency management and money for road and bridge repair.
