This year's One Book, One San Diego selection, the award-winning March: Book One, is a graphic memoir about the Civil Rights Movement by U.S. Rep. John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, and Nate Powell. In support of the program, the Oceanside Public Library will host a panel discussion highlighting the exciting and diverse medium of comics.
As part of a series of programs called "Cross-Cultural Journeys, Travesías Transculturales," the Library is pleased to present award-winning author Reyna Grande. During the month of October, the Library will host book discussions of her best-selling memoir, The Distance Between Us. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
