SLO Libraries in the Great Depression Era
This month during our Centennial Celebration, we look back to the Great Depression era that led to widespread unemployment and poverty. Library services in SLO County continued. In April of 1931, library services were established at Sunny Acres Children's Home. In April of 1936, the Bitterwater Library was founded and the Camp Arroyo Library was established.
