Food for Fines Update: Thank you!
During National Library Week in April, all County of SLO libraries participated in taking nonperishable food items from our patrons in lieu of payment of late fines. We are happy to report that The SLO Food Bank garnered almost 24,000 pounds of food to feed hungry families on the Central Coast.

That's a Wrap: #BookToAction
Thank you to our community partners for your support! The award-winning book, The 57 Bus, by Dashka Slater, reached over 1600 teens at Pacific Beach High School, Atascadero High School, Juvenile Hall, and San Luis Obispo High School. Our community panel with the author and local experts at the Atascadero Library generated thoughtful, inspiring discussion about juvenile justice, wellness, and other local issues. Want to share what you learned? Have a title in mind for next year's Book to Action program? Join the discussion on our Facebook page.
