In honor of Women's History Month, this Zoom drawing class extends the spirit of International Women's Day and finds inspiration from the artist Barbara Kasten, who at 84 years old, continues to challenge spatial relationships in her work. Drawing from her photograph, Construct NYC 11 (1982), explores her depiction of a 3-dimensional space on a 2-dimensional plane. Registration Required. For ages 12 and up. A Closer Look: A Virtual Book Conversation

This is the first discussion in a three-part/three-book virtual book group series. We will read A Life on Our Planet by David Attenborough. The Zoom conversation will be held Saturday, March 20th at 1PM. As a life-long naturalist, Attenborough has seen a lot of change in his almost 100 year old life. He offers some scenarios of what is to come without change, and some positive visions of the future with change. A quick read.The book and materials are provided for you at no cost.
