Films of Influence: The Wild Bunch

Join us in the SLO Library Community Room for a FREE screening of The Wild Bunch (rated R). Sometimes thought of as "the greatest Western ever made" and sometimes considered "the Western to end all Westerns," The Wild Bunch has fascinating characters,exciting action sequences, and an ending that no one will ever forget. Filmed by legendary director Sam Peckinpah, The Wild Bunch can also be seen as a commentary on America in the late 1960s. Introduction and discussion after the screening with Cal Poly film professor Doug Keesey.
