Effective February 1, 2022, the MLPL libraries will be open with adaptations to allow for limited in-person services. Proof of vaccination is not required to enter the library but properly worn face masks are required for all persons aged two or older who wish to come into the buildings. Please let us know that you are waiting to come inside with a rap on the window, a ring of the doorbell, or a call from your cell phone. 
We continue to encourage people to pre-order online or by phone, and to use outside pick up options if that is your preferred method of accessing library material.

An evening with Heather O'Neill

Heather O'Neill, bestselling Canadian author (The Lonely Hearts Hotel, Lullabies for Little Criminals, The Girl Who Was Saturday Night), is back with a new novel. O'Neill's forthcoming novel, When We Lost Our Heads, is a story about two girls whose friendship is so intense it not only threatens to destroy them, it changes the trajectory of history.
