Summer Reading: Imagine Your Story

Because we are unable to gather for summer events as in years past, we are bringing the programming to you by giving away activities and projects in take & make kits each week for each age level (child, teen, adult) on Wednesdays through August 12th from 2:00-6:00 p.m or by arrangement as long as supplies last. The take & make kits follow a weekly theme so family members of different ages have their own fun project around the same theme.

Mind Your Yoga Summer Session

Mind Your Yoga, Summer Session, a Virtual North Plains Library Program We will be conducting bi-weekly yoga meetups led by Meena on Tuesdays and Tara on Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00 pm via Zoom for the months of June, July and August. Note this is a change in time from previous sessions. Yoga has many physical and mental health benefits that are especially helpful now as folks navigate this unprecedented time. Yoga sharpens your mind and improves strength and balance. The deep breathing learned in yoga helps restore equilibrium between the body, mind, and emotions making anxiety and stress easier to manage. We hope you will roll out your mat, connect via Zoom and enjoy fun sessions with our amazing leaders, Meena & Tara!
