Book Return Update
Our Outdoor Book Drop is now open 24/7 for library material returns. There is also a return bin in our front entryway for your convenience during holds pick-up hours. All returned materials will be quarantined for at least 24 hours before they are checked in so materials will not disappear immediately from your account. No late fees will be charged until further notice. We are not able to accept donations of materials at this time.
The Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB) is a statewide voluntary reading motivation and comprehension program. Students in 3rd-12th grade, regardless of ability, are exposed to quality literature representing a variety of literary styles and viewpoints. Join the North Plains OBOB Book Club! Although there will be no formal state wide battles this school year, we will still meet on Zoom to discuss an OBOB book and have some fun with mini battles.
Bring the kids to the library on Saturday, October 31st from 12:00-2:30 p.m. for a contact free treat from the library. One person at a time. Please wear a mask and maintain 6 feet of distance from others.
