The Mission of Sherwood Public Library is to inspire discovery, enrich lives and build community through equitable access to life-long learning. We see that happen with summer reading, especially. Join us to connect with your community and learn about cultures, science, music, and more. Celebrate reading and learning with events throughout the summer and free books for youth, teens, and adults. Pick out your free book through August 31 at the Library.

MINIATURE CASTLE MAKING CONTEST [IN-PERSON] In time for the yearly Sherwood Robin Hood Festival, show off your creativity in Sherwood Public Library's 4th annual Miniature Castle Making Contest! Submit a homemade castle 9 X 9 X 9 inches or smaller between June 25 and July 9, and it may be displayed at the library or even win an award. More rules and information at: sherwoodoregon.gov/library. Contest runs through Sunday, July 9. Winners announced Friday, July 14. |

ART WALK[IN-PERSON] The library is one stop at the Art Walk event. Visit the library and enjoy peaceful landscapes and scenes from nature created by local artist, D. K. Boljat. STEAM SATURDAY / SÁBADO DE STEAM [IN-PERSON] / [EN PERSONA] Drop in for a dose of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) fun on the last Saturday of every month. Build with Snap Circuits, 3-D pens, Magnetic Tiles, and more. This month we have a shrink art station.Saturday, July 29, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Ages 3 and up.
