Friends Contribute $120,000At a joint meeting of the Washoe County Board of County Commissioners and the Library Board of Trustees, the Friends of Washoe County Library presented the library with $120,000 to support collections and services in 2018, raised largely through their popular booksales. National Automobile Museum & Sacramento Zoo Passes Now Available
Your library card is your ticket to some new additions to Discover & Go! Starting this month, Washoe County Library cardholders can reserve passes for the National Automobile Museum (The Harrah Collection) in Reno and the Sacramento Zoo and California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento.

Flick Ranch Presented by Historic Reno Preservation Society With Kelly Rigby, President of the Flick Ranch Project, and Joyce Cox. The historic 1942 ranch house was purchased from the Flick family by the Reno Catholic Diocese in 1948 to become the first Bishop Manogue High School, and later the monastery for the Brothers of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. The property was purchased in 2007 by the Truckee River Flood Project with plans to terrace the land to reduce flooding. - Sunday, March 25, 1:30 p.m., Sierra View Library
