Washoe County Library System is here to support you virtually during this trying time. In response to COVID-19, we have taken the following actions:
All library locations are temporarily closed until further notice.
All fines are being waived, and overdue items are not accruing new fines.
All library bookdrops are closed, and patrons are urged to keep their materials until libraries reopen.
We will be providing virtual Story Times and book discussions (stay tuned)
We are working on an easy way to provide digital access if you don't already have a library card.
Washoe County Health District is urging us all to practice social distancing as much as possible, which means most of you are spending more time than usual at home, without being able to rely on your regular recreational activities like visiting museums and libraries.
The library, community, and greater world offer plenty of opportunities to keep you reading, engaged, learning, and entertained. Many of our resources, as well as those outside the library, are listed below. If you don't have a Washoe County Library card, we are working on a solution to issue cards while we are closed, so please stay tuned, and enjoy the resources below and others available on our website.
