National Library Week

National Library Week is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and library workers and to promote library use and support. This year's theme highlights how libraries are offering virtual services and digital content their communities need now more than ever.

With your Washoe County Library library card, you get access to ebooks, audiobooks, and other online resources from your home.

Celebrate National Library Week by sharing your love for our virtual library services on social media. Please post about an ebook, audiobook, virtual story time, or other way your library has made a difference while you've been social distancing at home and get the chance to win a $100 Visa gift card from the American Library Association.

Post your entries to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with hashtags #ThankYouLibraries and #StayHomeForNevada. Please be sure to tag the library as well (Facebook/Instagram: @washoecountylibrary; Twitter: @washoelibrary).
