Holds Pickups
Next week Washoe County Library System will be expanding its holds pickup services. Starting Tuesday, July 7, you will be able to pick up library materials on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 am to 2 pm, at the following locations.
  • Downtown Reno Library
  • North Valleys Library
  • Sierra View Library
  • Sparks Library 
The holds pickup services that are already offered at Northwest Reno, South Valleys, Spanish Springs, and Incline Village will continue.

Closed for Independence Day

In observance of Independence Day, libraries will be closed July 3 and 4. There will be no hold pickups available, book drops will be closed, and telephone reference will be unavailable.
 
You will still be able to check out ebooks, audiobooks, and digital magazines, and use our online resources.

In response to increasing demand for our online offerings, we have created an easy new way for you to access our digital resources.
 
If you do not have a Washoe County Library account (or if you have misplaced your card), you can now visit our website and quickly acquire a digital library card, which you can use to check out ebooks and audiobooks, take online courses, and much more.

Hold Donations During Closure

We love donations. But during this temporary closure, Washoe County Library and the Friends of Washoe County Library will be unable to accept them.
 
Please hold on to any items you would like to donate until Washoe County Libraries reopen. Do not leave donations at library branches.
