Starting Monday, we are expanding the hours for our book drops. The book drops at all branches (except for Verdi, Senior Center, and Duncan/Traner) will now open Monday mornings at 9 am and will be continuously available until Friday evenings at 6 pm.
 
We're are still unable to accept donations, so please only deposit checked-out library material in the drops. For your safety, returned items will be quarantined for 96 hours before again being available for check out.

Summer Chess & 3D Printing Camp
 
Using ChessKid.com and Zoom, we'll meet online to learn the basics of chess, improve strategies, and play matches against your peers. This camp runs August 3-6.
  • Day one: Introductions, chess history and basic moves.  
  • Day two: Improve your skills by completing chess puzzles and playing some practice games.
  • Day three: Use Tinkercad to create our own custom chess piece (to be 3D printed later).
  • Day four - Compete in the 2020 Chess Camp tournament. Who will be crowned the champion?
