Coming Soon: The New York Times Digital In the next few weeks, the Washoe County Library will be offering the New York Times online. This new subscription will provide complete access to the New York Times website, and will work the same as a paid subscription. Your library card will allow you to access the current print edition and select archival issues, from anywhere. We will let you know when the subscription is active, so keep an eye out for future updates.

The Explorer The Winter issue of the Explorer has arrived. The Washoe County Library Explorer is our comprehensive events guide. New issues are released seasonally and cover three months of library programs and events.

Library Closures On December 12, all libraries will delay opening until 2 pm for a staff training day. (The Senior Center Library will be closed all day.) All libraries will be closed on December 25 and January 1 in observance of Christmas Day and New Year's Day, respectively. All libraries with evening hours will close at 5 pm on December 24 and 31.
