5 Second Rule
It should be easy to name 3 breeds of dogs—but can you do it under the pressure of 5 seconds twisting down, and with the other players staring at you, waiting for you to get flustered? Time’s not on your side, so just say what comes to mind and risk ridiculous answers slipping out as time runs out.

Anomia
Players watch for pattern matches from constantly changing cards and struggle to be the first to spit out a word that falls into their opponent’s category. Sounds simple, but this fun game will soon have everyone laughing and scrabbling for words.

Apples to Apples
Players take turns acting as judge, providing a noun card that other players must try to match with the adjective card they think best describes the noun. The fun comes from trying to win by predicting which adjective each judge will choose, often awarded to the silliest entry.

Balderdash
Contains cards with real words nobody has heard of. Players make up phony definitions to read along with the legit ones. as others decide which is real. How well can you fake it? Try to come up with definitions that at least sound plausible and hope other players don’t call your bluff!

Codenames
Two rival spy teams. 25 secret codenames. Which team will identify their codes first? In Codenames, spymasters give one-word clues that can point to multiple words on the board. Their teammates try to guess words of the right color while avoiding those that belong to the opposing team. And everyone wants to avoid the assassin.

Concept
A large, green animal from long ago? Must be a dinosaur. A man with a job who rides large brown animals in the United States? Is that a cowboy? Players try to prompt their team to guess words and phrases using only colored cubes and the tiny icons pictured on the board.

Dixit
Each round a different player chooses a secret card and calls out a short phrase or word to match the image. The other players choose the card they think most closely matches that phrase. Correctly guess the secret card, and you’ll move ahead. Convince everyone else that your card is best, and you’ll do even better.

Double Feature
A new kind of movie game where casual movie fans can compete with experts. All you need to know are the movies you've seen. Simply be the first to link two movie elements. For example, if the cards are "Black and White" and "New York", correct answers could include anything from "King Kong" to "Manhattan".

Pickles to Penguins
Can you spot a link between pickles and penguins? They both start with 'P'. Or you should keep both of them cold. Or you'd hate to eat either one, ew! Nearly any answer will do, but you must be the first to blurt out the commonalities between those images. You will need a fast hand, mind, and mouth if you’re going to win.

Say Anything
Every player answers a fun questions like “Which celebrity would make the worst babysitter?” or “What magical power would be the coolest to have?” There are no right or wrong answers – just your opinions. Then players try to guess which answer the judge for that round will like best.
