Last Tuesday Game Night Featured game demo at 6:00pm Since Thea Hart missed board game night in April due to illness, in June our featured game will be Seven Wonders (originally scheduled for April), the award-winning card development game for 2-7 players. Each player is a leader of one of the seven great cities of the ancient world and needs to gather resources, develop commercial routes, and affirm military might. Players build their cities and can erect architectural wonders which give bonuses or extra points. The game is played in three different "Ages." At the end of the third age, the player with the most victory points wins. Watch this quick 3-minute run-through video or come learn how to play here at West Slope Library!

Featured game demo at 6:00pm In July, our featured game will be Quirkle, the award-winning abstract strategy board game for 2-4 players. This is a great family game, suitable for kids as young as 6 years old. Players begin the game with six blocks. The starting player places blocks of a single matching attribute (color or shape but not both) on the table. Thereafter, players add blocks adjacent to at least one previously played block. The blocks must all be played in a line and match, without duplicates, either the color or shape of the previous block. Players score one point for each block played plus all blocks adjacent. When the draw bag is depleted, the player with the highest score wins. Steve will tell you all about it in this 3 minute video or you can come play with us!
