New Quarter Discussion Group: Humorous Fiction Third Monday of the month starting September 17, 6:00pm | Adults Librarian Thea will facilitate a new discussion group at the library. Every three months, she will feature items from the library on a different theme. Join us starting in September for the first theme: humorous fiction. We will discuss Maria Semple's novel Today Will Be Different. Why a discussion group instead of a book group? Future themes may feature video, audiobooks, or music. |

Tech Help On the last Thursday of every month, we provide one-on-one 30-minute appointments for folks wanting some help with their digital devices. This is not just for downloading eBooks or audiobooks (but we can do that too!) but for any technology help. Do you want to use your tablet or smartphone for GPS navigation or video chatting with friends and family over apps like Whatsapp or Skype? Are you curious about all those GIFS and Stickers that are popping up everywhere? Or maybe you received a new device as a gift and just don't know where to start? We are here to help. Basics of Indian Food Saturday, September 29, 2:00-3:00pm | Adults Presenter Srividya Sankaran will explain the basic techniques used to make Indian food. Summer Reading success!

Congratulations! Look who won the Dog Man drawing! Hip! Hip! Hooray! Look who won the "Dragons Love Tacos" book and plush. Our winner said, "I feel so excited! Tonight I'm going to snuggle with my dragon! I love West Slope Library!" Aww! And we love our community.
