New from ARRT!
In 2019 we are excited to announce our new Travel Grant program. If you have a hard time attending programs due to staffing or other needs, we can help! ARRT will provide up to 10 Readers’ Advisors a maximum of $100 each to fund attendance at an ARRT seasonal program. This grant is offered year-round, with deadlines one month before each program. Applicants may apply for grants for multiple events while grant funds are available. Visit arrtreads.org for more information on how to apply.

Book Club Study
Tuesday, February 26th, 2-4pm
Oak Park Public Library

Please join us for a discussion of Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond, led by Margita Lidaka.

Following the discussion will be
a nuts-and-bolts session devoted to sharing practical solutions to the problems and concerns of book discussion leaders. Our upcoming leadership topic, led by Jennifer Asimakopoulos is: Supporting outside book groups. How do you serve area groups? Some ideas include creating a book club in a bag, providing discussion questions and other resources, guest leading discussions, and getting copies via ILL. Bring what’s worked and what hasn’t.

Free to ARRT members, RSVP to Margita Lidaka
