Keynote speaker author Barbara Barnett will start us off with a discussion on libraries and pop culture. Every attendee will attend four breakout sessions on a wide variety of RA related topics. We will close out our day with Book Buzzes by both Penguin Random House and Sourcebooks. Join us for great ideas, great discussions, and some wonderful swag! 2017 ILA Readers' Advisory Service Award
We're thrilled to share that Debbie Hoffman of the Warren-Newport Public Library is the recipient of the Illinois Library Association Readers’ Advisory Service Award. The award, presented by the Adult Reading Round Table and the ILA Reference Services Forum, recognizes excellence in the planning, development, and delivery of readers’ advisory service to adults and teens.
 
The Readers’ Advisory Service Award will be presented at the Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, October 10, during the ILA Annual Conference in Tinley Park.
