In-N-Out Cover to Cover Reading Program Saturday, Oct. 2nd- Saturday, Nov. 13th Kids ages 4-12, read for In-N-Out! For every five books you read, you'll get a free In-N-Out hamburger or cheeseburger (up to three burgers). Pick up your reading card in the Children's Room. Children who can't read can be read to. Many thanks to In-N-Out for offering this program year after year!

Adopt a Baby Dino Nov. 1st - Nov. 30th Kids ages 4-12, baby dinos are in need of reading buddies. That means you! Come to the Children's Room to adopt a baby dino, give it a name, and read to it everyday!

Science Saturday Saturday, Nov. 6th at 10:30AM Library Front Lawn, weather permitting Kids in grades 2-6, join Joe the Science Bro and learn about the exciting science of rockets! You'll get to build your own rocket and launch it outside! Registration is not required, but seating will be limited to the first 20 attendees. **Weather permitting. This program will be canceled in the event of rain or extreme heat.**

Dino Egg Hunt Saturday, Nov. 13th at 2:00PM Library Front Lawn, weather permitting Kids 12 and younger, join us on the library lawn with a blanket or chair for dino stories and a dino egg hunt. Sunshine Storytime Wednesdays at 10:30AM Library Front Lawn, weather permittingEvery Wednesday from 10:30AM – 11:00AM, we will have outdoor storytime on our front lawn with Miss Shailene. Teen Advisory Group (TAB) Tuesday, Nov. 2nd at 6:00PM-7:00PM Donna Bagley Community Room High school students, join our Teen Advisory Board! You will have the opportunity to earn community service hours and discuss programs and activities you want to see at the library! Meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of every month from 6:00PM-7:00PM. Please wear a mask to meetings. Please complete a volunteer application and turn it in to the Children's Department. Separate college admissions fact from fiction and get straight answers about how college admissions committees decide who gets in. Join our Buena Park Library District YA Library Loot subscription program. This program is for teens ages 12-18 and only requires you to return the books and box with a review of the books you read to be signed up for the following month.
