Greetings from Rural Hall Branch Library! Thank you for your interest in Rural Hall Branch Library events. All Forsyth County Public Libraries will migrate to a new support system from Monday, February 26th to Thursday, March 1st. On Monday, March 5th the library will open at 1 pm. For more information, please visit the Forsyth County Public Library website. Teen Tech Week will be from Monday, March 5th through Saturday, March 10th. Teens (6th-12th) can fill out a technology quiz for a chance to win an iTunes gift card.

Dr. Seuss Storytime Friday, March 2, 11-11:30 am Celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday at Rural Hall Branch Library. Children of all ages and their families are welcome to attend the Dr. Seuss themed storytime. Afterwards, children will be able to make crafts based on Dr. Seuss' books!

Spelling Bee Monday, March 12, 4-5 pm The Spelling Bee is open to children ages 8-12 years old. The winner of the Rural Hall Branch Library Spelling Bee will go on to compete in the Forsyth County Library Spelling Bee Championship at Central Library. Please call 336-703-2970 to register.

Mushroom Growing Monday, March 19, 6:30 pm Farmers from the Borrowed Land Farm will speak at Rural Hall Branch Library about mushroom growing.

Family Movie Night Friday, March 23, 4-5:45 pm Families are welcome to join us for a movie night at Rural Hall Branch Library. We will be showing Moana (rated PG), a movie about a brave girl's journey to save her island nation.

S.T.E.M. Session Wednesday, March 28, 4-5 pm S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Sessions are monthly programs that allow K-5th grade children to learn, build, create, and experiment with new objects and ideas. This month we will create paths for Ozobots (small robots) to follow.
