CLEMMONS BRANCH LIBRARY NEWSLETTERThe Forsyth County Public Library is open for brief browsing and is now offering public computer use. To-go pickup of library materials is still being offered. September and October will see the addition of Zoom events for children and teens.

The Clemmons Branch Library is open to the public during the following hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. At the Clemmons branch, the county has decided that only 10 people will be allowed inside the building at a time, so we ask that you keep your visits brief. Starting September 14, the hours will expand: Monday-Thursday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Also starting on September 14, the maximum capacity will increase to allow 15 people at a time.

Computers are now available for use at the Clemmons Branch Library. Computer users are limited to 30 minute sessions, with a maximum of 2 hours of computer use per day.

To-go pickup of library materials is still available. You will be notified when your items are available for pickup. We will check out your materials when they arrive and they will be placed on the shelf in the lobby. You no longer need to call us to arrange for pickup. When you arrive, you may take your items. Hours for to-go pickup are: Monday and Wednesday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., 5:15 p.m. - 7 p.m. Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Keep Calm and Relax On Wednesday, September 16 at 4:30 p.m. Join us to learn more about meditation and stress relief tips that you can use this school year, then make a relaxing glitter jar. Going to College: Is It Worth It? Wednesday, October 7 at 4:30 p.m. College tuition costs and student loan debt are rapidly rising. Join us for a discussion on what the statistics really show and the pros and cons of college attendance. This discussion is part of our Teen-tober series "Get Active @ the Library" promoting teen activism in the community.
