Monthly Programs
Book Lovers' Club
 
  
 
 
The book club will meet on January 7th to discuss Swimming Between Worlds by Elaine Neil Orr. 
 
On February 4th, the book club will discuss The Other Einstein by Marie Benedict.

Clemmons Cookin' Club
 
Choose a recipe from a pre-selected book and we’ll make a copy for you. Bring in the finished dish on the day of the meeting to share with other members. Must bring a dish to attend.
 
The Cookin' Club will meet on January 16 and will be make recipes using crock pots, pressure cookers, instant pots, and air fryers.
 
The Cookin' Club will also meet on February 20.
 
Meets on the third Wednesday  
of the month at 12:30 p.m.
Dementia: Accepting the Challenge
On Monday, January 7 at 10 a.m. the Clemmons Branch Library is hosting a training session on dementia, focusing on stages of the Alzheimer's disease.
 
A follow-up session focusing on meaningful days and risky behaviors for people with Alzheimer's disease will be held on Wednesday, February 6 at 10 a.m.
 
No registration necessary. Presented by the NC Geriatric & Adult Mental Health Specialty Team.
Free Movie Screening
Thursday, February 21 @ 2 p.m.
 
Celebrate Black History Month at the Clemmons Branch Library with a screening of the movie Round Midnight.
 
A troubled but talented jazz musician flees the US in the 1950s to escape his problems, finding refuge and support in Paris. Starring Dexter Gordon, who was nominated for the Academy Award for his role.

All regularly scheduled story times are canceled at the Clemmons Branch Library until further notice, as our children's librarian is no longer with the County. Please continue to check the calendar or call the library at 336-703-2920 for updates, as we hope to offer occasional story times until the position is filled.
