"This book is full of great information for anyone interested in pursuing an astronomy hobby! It’s got plenty of scientific details and explanations of specialized terminology for those who are ready to dive in and get serious; but it’s also got plenty of easy-to-read maps and tips on what kind of binoculars are best to use, if all you want is to gaze up at the night sky and get some idea of what you’re looking at." - Maggie H., Aloha Community Library

"I borrowed this book with the hope that it might be a useful tool for constructing a setting for tabletop role-playing games. While the book is primarily geared toward working in concert with one or more partners to build a fictional world together, I found the guides and examples incredibly useful when tackling my solo project. The author's use of worldbuilding examples in popular culture really helped drive home the way that the decisions made in creating a setting inform the way the narratives unfold within it." - Jared S., Aloha Community Library

"If you’re interested in both beer and gardening, this is the book for you! It’s a great little two-in-one how-to guide. It not only covers in clear, useful detail the growing of hops, grains, malts, and a fantastic variety of herbs, but also how to harvest, prepare, and use them in homebrewing. If you’re anywhere between 'starting to get the hang of this whole brewing thing' and 'that’s an interesting idea, let me use my many years of brewing experience to adapt that,' you’ll likely get something useful out of this book!" - Maggie H., Aloha Community Library
