The Cornelius Public Library opened the doors to its new, beautiful 14,000 square foot building in March of this year. The library serves the city of Cornelius, of which 52.5% of the population is Latinx. The library is unique in that nearly a third of the staff speak Spanish! The library offers popular books, movies, and music in both English and Spanish, and it contains spaces for all kinds of users, including study rooms, conference rooms, play areas, a teen room, and an inviting courtyard.
