"Scott Kelly has spent over a year on the International Space station. He manages to take breathtaking pictures of the Earth and stars, from landmarks and cityscapes to the Aurora Borealis, showing the beauty and art in it all from a vantage point most of us will never get to experience." - Adrianne D., Tigard Public Library
"A poignant and compelling historical novel set in post-WWII England. English housewife Eve chafes at the dull tedium of life with an unappealing, controlling husband. Receiving a letter telling of a mysterious inheritance, she travels alone to glamorous Cannes, France to claim it and begins to find her courage and to uncover secrets about her own family - as well as hidden dangers." - Ann-Marie A., Tigard Public Library
"This book is a densely packed exploration of the deep cultural roots of our ongoing fascination with dinosaurs. Sax explores everything from medieval myths of dragons to Jurassic Park, by way of the Victorian discovery of dinosaurs, the Sinclair Oil mascot, and much more." - Erik C., Tigard Public Library
