Garden Home Community Library was founded by volunteers in 1983 inside the former Garden Home School, now THPRD's Garden Home Recreation Center. GHCL joined WCCLS in 1996 and now has a collection of over 17,000 items. Our unique location leads to many fun partnerships, and we are one of only three WCCLS libraries governed by a non-profit association. The library has expanded within the building several times, almost doubling to 3,500 square feet in April 2019. During the pandemic, our small and mighty library staff has been busy serving patrons with holds pickup, grab bags, make and take crafts, online events, and interactive videos. Visit us online or during curbside hours to find out more! Left: Take a peek into Garden Home Community Library's "COVID-19 quarantine corner", where recently returned materials get temporarily isolated for the safety of the public and of library staff.
