GED Preparation Class Tuesday | September 10, 12,17, 19, 24, 26 | 7 pm For the second installment of the Ridgeview Library’s free, 6-week GED Preparation class we will be focusing on the Social Studies subtest of the GED. Students are encouraged to attend any Tuesday or Thursday evening to participate in the class or to learn more about other GED preparation resources available to them, including the possibility of individual tutoring sessions. Titanic: The Halifax Dead SpeakMonday | September 23 | 6:30 pm Join Dr. Melinda Ratchford for the second part of her popular Titanic presentation. Dr. Ratchford will use multimedia and memorabilia to tell the stories of some of the passengers who lost their lives as Titanic sank on April 14, 1912. Fall Vegetables for Containers Workshop Thursday | September 26 | 6 pm If you don’t have a ton of space to grow food or flowers for your family to enjoy, then join Anelle Ammons from Cooperative Extension for the fall gardening series. She’ll be focusing on small spaces like patios, balconies, and tiny yards. This month will highlight how to select and plant fall vegetables for containers. Ridgeview Branch Library
