Composting & Waste Reduction
Wednesday, July 21, 6:30 pm
This class introduces easy backyard composting using kitchen scraps and other materials found in and around the home. Compost creates a rich, nutritious additive to the soil; its addition benefits all plants and vegetables. Composting helps to limit what goes into the waste stream and keep our environments green.    REGISTER HERE

Starting June 28th!  Ages 16 and up. Join us for a Fun New Adult Summer Reading Game! Page Turner Adventures
Page Turner Adventures are back this summer with The Animal Adventures Summer Reading Program!
Starting June 28, each week we will post new videos on our website: comedy shows, author interviews, virtual field trips, guest performers, contests, games, recipes, and arts & crafts.
Paint It!
For children ages 9-12. These programs will be in person at the Main Library. Choose your date - Thurs., 7/15 at 5:00 pm or Thurs., 7/29 at 6:30 pm. Discover watercolor painting and develop your artistic vision. Registration begins 6/28 for HKDPL district residents and 7/12 for everyone else. 
Tween Yoga on ZOOM

It's Minecraft Mania! -  Virtual Edition
For ages 6-12. Wed., 7/14, 5:45 -7:30 pm. Join together to work in teams to build and play. Using your own account is encouraged. If you do not already have an account, one will be provided.

Participants work with the facilitator to define consent and why it's important.  Students analyze social norms and the language used to talk about sex.  REGISTER HERE
 
Decision Making
Thursday, August 19, 5pm
Participants discuss cultural, social, and physical aspects which can make decision making confusing for a young person.  Participants walk away feeling more empowered to make decisions that are best for them.  REGISTER HERE
