When classes went online in March 2020, many students floundered. Untethered from the daily structure of bells and teacher reminders, some forgot deadlines – others never even started schoolwork. Crimson Coaching Founder and Head Coach Dr. P. (Dominique Padurano, M.S., Ed., Ph.D.) teaches students how to make a daily schedule, bolster motivation, and use technology to help rather than hinder their academic growth during the age of distance learning. This Zoom webinar is geared for students grades 6-12, though college students may also find it useful. Parents are encouraged to attend alongside their children so that they can reinforce the concepts and strategies Dr. P. shares.

Pandemic DiariesWe are unquestionably living in a historical moment that will be of interest to future generations. As many historians know, eyewitness records of events are the most valuable and also the rarest type of source material. Now is a chance to record your experiences, thoughts, and feelings for future generations.
Preserve your voice.
-Tell us how you're feeling.
-What are you seeing around you?
-What are you doing during the pandemic?
-What effect is this having on you, your family and your neighbors?
Please answer those questions you wish to answer, in any form you feel comfortable with, whether as direct text answers to the questions or as poetry, artwork, photographs, or something else. You are welcome to fill out the survey multiple times for as long as the pandemic continues.
We also want to see images of what is happening around you, in your home, in your community. If you have images to share, please note the location, date, and subject of the image (including names of any people, buildings, etc) in an email and send the image(s) as an attachment to adultref@pearlriverlibrary.org.
With your permission, we will preserve these responses in our archives and share them now and in the future. You don't need a Google account to answer these questions. Thank you for participating!
