AARP Tax Aide Returns
The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program, providing free tax counseling, returns to the Pearl River Public Library on Friday, February 7, from 10AM-2PM. This program will run every Friday through April 10. Patrons should bring government issued photo ID, their Social Security card, all W-2s and other tax related documents, and a copy of last year's tax return. The library building opens at 9AM. Patrons can enter the building at that time and register with the AARP Tax Aide Hostess. Please register no later than 1PM. Patrons may choose to wait outside prior to 9AM, either in front of the building or in their car. No sign-up sheet will be posted outside or inside the building for early sign up. If members of the public post their own sign up sheet, it will not be honored. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. If any member of the library staff observes fighting or arguing, the police will be notified. Neither the staff parking lot nor the Franklin Avenue School parking lot is available for patron use.

Are you in 7th grade or older? Have you ever wanted to learn to crochet or knit? Do you need community service hours? Join our crochet and knit club! Each Thursday evening, our talented PRPL staff and volunteers will teach you and you will create hats and scarves to donate to charitable organizations and earn community service hours for doing so!
