On March 20, 2024, the Pearl River Public Library achieved a significant milestone in its journey. Working alongside the former Ringner's Furniture building owners Lemle & Wolff Inc., we successfully secured a zoning variance interpretation. This accomplishment paves the way for the building to become the new home of our public library by allowing the Ringner's building to be temporarily zoned for use as a public library.
We are grateful for the support and encouragement from our community, especially the residents of Orangetown. Your backing has been crucial in reaching this stage of our project. As we move forward, our focus shifts towards obtaining the necessary permits to continue our progress.
This achievement marks an exciting chapter for the Pearl River Public Library, showcasing our commitment to providing a vibrant and accessible space for learning and discovery. We look forward to welcoming you to our new location as we continue to serve and enrich our community.
