September Programs for Teens
Did you know that September is library card sign up month? Since the library is moving into a new building soon, now is the perfect time to get your library card.
 
While you're at the library signing up for a library card, make sure to join in on one of our great programs. There is a free movie every Saturday at 2:30, game days, and a Teen Advisory Group. Please note that the library will be closed starting September 28 so that we may move into the new building.

Game Day

Tuesdays from 2:00-5:00, starting September 15
 
Grab a friend and play a board game at the library. We have a large selection of games to choose from, or feel free to bring your own.
Teen Advisory Group

Thursday, September 17 @ 5:00
 
Join the library's Teen Advisory Group and have a say in what types of programs we have, books we buy, and more. Participants are eligible for one hour of community service for every meeting attended.
The library will be closed on September 7
in observance of Labor Day

Watch the RCLS wide Battle of the Books competition on Sunday, September 13 at 12:00. This year, the battle will take place at SUNY Orange. Cheer on our team, The Novel Bunch, as they battle to become RCLS champions! A special thank you to the SUNY Orange English Department for sponsoring this event.

Banned Books Rea-A-Thon

Kick off Banned Books Week by signing up for the second annual Banned Books Read-A-Thon. Sign up to read from a banned book on the library lawn. Borrow a banned book from the library, or bring your favorite banned book from home. Celebrate your freedom to read.
