Coming Together in Skokie & Niles Township seeks to build knowledge of and appreciation for the diversity represented in Skokie and Niles Township. This year’s theme, Celebrating Chinese Culture, provides opportunities to explore Chinese identity and culture through reading selected texts and engaging programming for all ages.

Chinese Opera Workshop Saturday, March 18, 2:00 pmRosa Yeh and the EZ Learn Chinese School Opera Group will introduce Chinese opera history, characters, makeup techniques, costumes and musical instruments. Learn basic Chinese opera movements and practice traditional Chinese music instruments such as cymbals and gong.
