PLACE: Climate Change Public Libraries Advancing Community Engagement The Greenwood County Library will host a three-part series on climate change and how it affects us individually and as a community. A meteorologist from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) will lead each session as we read, view a short film, and discuss the issues and possible solutions presented. Free copies of the featured titles will be available to participants while supplies last. The Library sponsors several different kinds of book clubs. We read mysteries, classics, regional writers, and an eclectic mix. The Library provides copies of the titles used in its book discussion groups at no charge. Bring your lunch and eat while we discuss our featured title.
