On the first Thursday meetup of each month learn how to make a better pitch! Each month a local expert will teach a lesson on making a presentation. The sessions will focus on preparing to make a sales pitch, a funding request or a pitch for a strategic alliance partner, which are the three categories available for The Pitch Session that is held each quarter on fifth Thursdays. Prepare to make a pitch by attending this training session on the first week each month.

The Pitch Session

Want to practice your pitch? This is your opportunity to participate in a pitch session by making a 10 minute pitch or observing others and offering feedback. Pitchers can choose from three optional pitch formats: Request funding for growth of your business, pitch for a strategic partner, or make a sales pitch for your product or service. No registration needed to observe and give feedback at this meet up. Beginner's Accounting Using Quickbooks
Wednesday, March 22, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
This session covers basic double-entry accounting concepts to include financial statements, the five types of accounts and how they work together to form an accounting system. Participants can learn how to record many of the basic transactions in QuickBooks while reinforcing the basic accounting concepts. Attendees may bring a laptop and work in personal copies of QuickBooks during the workshop.
