Celebrate National Poetry Month with the library's Seventh Annual Teen Poetry Contest. The contest's three divisions are: 6th grade, 7th and 8th grades and high school. The contest will begin April 1, and the deadline for entries is 9 p.m. April 30. Winners will be announced at the end of May, and the winning poems will be posted online. Prizes from area bookstores will be awarded. Pick up an entry form at any Naperville Public Library location or enter online at naperville-lib.org/teens/ teenpoetrycontest2016. Check out the library's Wii U gaming system on the big screen as the library has a variety of games, new and old, that can be played by up to four players. The regular Wii will be set up and teen participants in 6th through 12th grades are encouraged to bring their own Nintendo 3DS systems to use as extra controllers.

Bookworms can receive a new book or advanced reading copy by visiting the lower level teen services desk on the second to last Monday of the month for the Teen Book Giveaway. To receive the book, teens should write a book review (the good, the bad and the ugly reviews will all be accepted) for the book received. Reviewers should return the book review to the library within the next month.
