PH Film Discussion Hitchock Saturday, January 19, OR Tuesday, January 22, 1:30 pm After Alfred Hitchcock’s film North by Northwest, is released a reporter suggests he retire. Incensed, Hitchcock finds an artistically daring horror novel, Psycho, about a real-life murderer for his next film. His wife and artistic collaborator, Alma Reville, is skeptical, but aids him in overcoming studio objections as Psycho becomes a major high point and commercial success of his career.
