AARP Safe Driving Program Tuesday, October 3 and Wednesday October 4 12:00 - 4:00 pmLearn valuable defensive driving skills and refresh your memory of the rules of the road in this eight hour course presented by AARP volunteers. After completing the course you may be eligible for a discount on your car insurance. (Consult your auto insurance agent for details.) A course fee of $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members is payable on October 3rd at the program. Register

Mark Dvorak, Artist-In-Residence at Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music, has been on the faculty for over twenty five years.

Mystery and Horror in the Golden Age of Radio Thursday, October 26, 7:00 pm “Those Were The Days” Old Time Radio host Steve Darnall plays clips from some of radio’s best known mystery and horror programs, including “Escape,” “Inner Sanctum” and “Lights Out.” Using voices, music and sounds to create indelible and often frightening pictures, Darnall illustrates how radio could truly be a “Theater of the Mind.”
