Have you been tuning in to the PBS series Great American Read? Join the Metropolitan Library System and the Oklahoma Humanities Council for a scholar led discussion on Ralph Ellison’s novel Invisible Man, selected as one of America’s 100 best-loved books. Ralph Ellison grew up in Oklahoma City and won the National Book Award for Invisible Man in 1953. In 1975 the Metropolitan Library System named a new library in his honor. Copies of Invisible Man will be available at the Information Desk to check out.
