Introduction
The Huntsville Library Foundation newsletter is getting a makeover! In addition to switching over to using the NextReads newsletter service to deliver our message, we're also switching our focus away from just Vive le Livre to a broader focus on all of the advocacy efforts the Huntsville Library Foundation makes on behalf of the Huntsville - Madison County Public Library. We're proud of what we're doing for our library system, and we'd like to keep you informed.

We'll send an update to you about once a month on our efforts to support the Huntsville - Madison County Public Library, and how you can contribute. Just be sure to add nextreads@hmcpl.org to your whitelist or 'Safe Senders' list.
Events
24th annual Vive le Livre featuring Bill Bryson: Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the South Hall Von Braun Center. Tickets available for purchase at http://huntsvillelibraryfoundation.org
About NextReads
NextReads is a service the Huntsville - Madison County Public Library is offering to bring their patrons information on both library events as well as new and notable books and authors. If you'd like to get updates in your inbox for upcoming library events or book suggestions for a genre you love, visit http://hmcpl.org/nextreads to sign up.

One of the best things about NextReads is the ability to feature books from the library's catalog. We thought you might enjoy knowing a little more about this year's Vive le Livre speaker, Bill Bryson, and his delightfully funny look on life. Bryson's non-fiction takes a quirky look at the things we often don't notice about everyday life. If you're unfamiliar with his books, and want to learn more about him before he speaks at Vive le Livre on November 11th, here are some of his books available now at the library:
