Hello Hershey library community.
We hope you had a good week, and enjoyed a little spring sunshine. Fresh air and open spaces are very important to our physical and mental well-being, even though it is tough to do following strict social distancing rules: Everyone is doing the best they can under these difficult circumstances. We are posting more frequent e-newsletters during the Covid-19 health crisis to provide information and resources we hope you find useful. If you have any questions, please use the Ask a Librarian chat portal on the library's website Home page at www.hersheylibrary.org

Dimensions of a standard bandana is 22 inches square, or 56 by 56 centimeters. Want expert help? Watch U.S. Surgeon General, Jerome Adams how-to-video

POWERteens
Got teens? Tell them about POWERteens. Log in to POWER Library and click Powerteens at the top of the page. Then scroll down to E-Resources to choose from AP Newsroom to Gale Topics Collections. POWERteens provides online resources including full-text research e-resources, collections of photographs and documents, the statewide catalog of materials held in libraries throughout PA, and Chat with a Librarian. POWERteens is honestly very cool and not boring at all.👍

From the Director's Desk (at home)
Laura writes about the challenges we have faced since the Covid-19 state lockdown began, and gives a well deserved "shout out" to all local heros who continue to provide vital services--keeping the community together. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone on the health care frontline, and important workers who maintain critical services such as utility workers, our fire and police departments, water and sewage treatment, to mention but a few. We also very much appreciate those who work to support essential businesses, day in and day out. We could not do this without you. Thank you. Click here to read Laura's letter.
