Our popular reading and discussion series concludes in November. We'll finish off our series this season with two more 'Biographies and Autobiographies'. Join us every other Wednesday at 6:30 PM for another great discussion with our guest scholars. Join us as we honor Veterans all month long. Stop in to create an ornament for Our Heroes' Tree, which will decorate our "Reading with a View Room" throughout the month. Then, check out some of our other events. Sat, Nov 4 •11AM-Noon Stories of Service Part 1 - WWII paratrooper Lyle Novak will be here to share his story of service in the European Theater and Tyrel Hudson will talk about his experiences as an Iraq/Afghanistan Army veteran. Tue, Nov 7 • Noon-1PM and 5:30-6PM The BSU Veterans Services Outreach Coordinator will talk about Education After Service at Noon, and share Education Opportunities for Patriotic Students at 5:30 PM. Wed, Nov 8 • 7PM Librarian Jessica Tueller will guide you through researching Genealogy and Military Records. Tue, Nov 14 • 6:30PM Join us for a WWI Centennial presentation: WWI in the Magic Valley. Fri, Nov 17 • 2-4PM Chaplin Mike Porter will be on hand to talk about Caring for Veterans.

Celebrate our multi-cultural heritage and get your family together to read fairy and folktales in November! Check out this list of great new folktale books compiled by Stan Steiner of BSU, or drop in and let us help you find a great book or audiobook. Bring the whole clan in on SATURDAY, NOV 18 anytime from 11AM-3PM and participate in our Fairy Tale Scavenger Hunt all over the Library. While supplies last, we'll hand out a free book to each child once they've completed the activity. Then, join us for a showing of Enchanted at 3PM to finish off your fairy tale day!

Come in costume and we'll play some trivia and other games, nosh on snacks, and talk about Justice League. Nov 30 - Stories of Service, Part 2 Air Force veteran Buck Day and Vietnam veteran helicopter pilot Jim O' Donnell will be on hand to talk about their experiences.
