Family Literacy Day Contest Family Literacy Day is a national awareness initiative created by ABC Life Literacy Canada in 1999 to raise awareness of the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family. This year Family Literacy Day will fall on January 27th and we're celebrating with a contest! When you check out juvenile materials from January 21st to February 3rd, you will be entered into a draw for a Family Literacy Day prize basket!
